Q: Can Quality Wood Repairs repair my furniture on-site?

A: In some cases, yes, we can repair your furniture on-site. There are some times when the extent of damage will require your items to be repaired at an off-site facility. If off-site repairs are needed, Quality Wood Repairs will inform you of the procedure.

 

Q: Are the products you use safe for my family?

A: Quality Wood Repairs uses products that are mostly water-based. These products do not have a strong odor. Some of our repair products may require us to use traditional products for your repairs. In these situations, we will work on your furniture outside of your home or in a well-ventilated area of the home.

 

Q: What types of damaged can be repaired at my home?

A: Quality Wood Repairs offers repair services on all styles and types of wood furniture, cabinets, and surfaces. In most cases, we can repair all items instead of being replaced, which saves you money.

 

Q: There is a large white spot on the finish on my table. Can you repair it?

A: White spots often happens, and it is caused when water, from a glass, or heat, from a pizza box, penetrate the surface and finish on the table. When these occur, Quality Wood Repairs can generally fix the spot for you on-site in a few hours or less. In cases where the damage is extensive, we will provide you with other options for repair.

 

Q: My dog chewed the leg on my table, and it is damaged. Can you repair it?

A: Quality Wood Repairs can repair damage caused by cat scratches, dog chews, and other types of pet damage. We will inspect your furniture and then provide you with an analysis of the damaged areas. We will let you know what your options are and how we can restore it.

 

Q: My table is showing some wear on it. What are my options to make it look better?

A: There are several different ways to fix worn finishes. If the wearing is minimal, we can apply a new coat of the finish to the table. If your table is wearing extensively, it is likely the table will need to be stripped and then refinished.

 

Q: I purchased a piece of furniture for my bedroom recently, and the color doesn’t match the rest. Can you help me?

A: Quality Wood Repairs specializes in finishes and color changes. One of our technicians can provide you with a consultation and let you know your options.

 

Q: How long does a repair take? Will my piece of furniture be gone for a long period of time?

A: Quality Wood Repairs makes every effort to perform all repairs on-site in your home to reduce the turnaround time. Many repairs are able to be done within a few hours; however, sometimes the damage is too extensive, and we must take your furniture off-site. If this occurs, we will let you know approximately how long your piece will be gone for.
